Aymeric Bichon

Aymeric Bichon is from Challans, France. He studied at CNSMDP, Superior Conservatory of Paris and danced for Junior Ballet for Angelin Preljocaj and Yuval Pick. After graduation, he worked with Ko Murobushi, Akram Khan for the Olympics, Claude Brumachon CCNN, Company Didier Theron, Company Nicolas Ricchini and Company Kham.

He has a collective with Christina Chan called Asteroid B-612, dancemeasheep. They have co-created several works including Midlight, which premiered in Singapore 2015, was performed at Asia Pacific Dance Bridge and in the US, Flux of Time, Stroboscope and Life On. An Excerpt of Flux of time was recently performed in Israel at “Batsheva Hosts”, a platform run by Batsheva Dance Company. With Christina, he also created Iris, a full-length for Dans Festival 2016 and Innermore which premiered in Ghana December 2016. Aymeric did the costume design for all these works.

Aymeric has also created collaborative work Locked Space In with Company A.J.T. and Marche Company L’amour Du Loup. He worked at Frontier Danceland from 2015-2016, working with choreographers Sita Ostheimer, Shahar Binyamini and Lee Mun Wai.

Aymeric is currently also dancer for a full-length Duet Replica created by Stephanie Lake and Chasm by Sita Ostheimer. He was also the rehearsal assistant for Christina’s Unfound, a now repertory work forSingapore Dance Theatre which premiered in October 2016. 

His work has taken him all around the world to the UK, Spain, Germany, Slovania, Croatia, Singapore, Australia, New Zealand and Africa.
